Hold on to your horses. VH1’s “lesbian duo” and “Love and Hip Hop: New York” stars, Erica Mena and Cyn Santana, may be getting their very own reality series.
But it gets better. As if we’re suppose to be convinced they’re really a couple, rumor has it, the ladies are now engaged following Mena’s proposal on the show’s pre-taped reunion special.
The spin-off (if anyone’s interested in watching) is said to document the couple’s trials and tribulations leading up to their wedding.
If you tuned in to this season’s drama filled LHHNY, then you’d know, the two took up a lot of air time trying to convince us they’re really a couple. In fact, they may have been trying to convince themselves. While Erica tried to convince herself she was over her ex-boyfriend and manager Rich Dollaz, Cyn’s lack luster attempt of pretending to be hurt was quite painful to watch. Perhaps the best part of the entire love triangle was Rich Dollaz’ emotional outbursts.
And, during a recent interview with New York’s HOT 97 radio station, Cyn didn’t fare any better in still trying to convince us they’re love was real.
“We’re not lesbians. We love d*ck too. I’ve like kissed girls before; I’ve never been in a relationship with a girl. She basically harassed me. I was pinned to the wall and I had no other f*cking choice,” said Santana.
She then adds, “We still like men. When she likes a guy, I know, and when I like a guy, she know, it’s like ‘oh! he’s cute’ and that’s it.”
Hmmmmm….shall we let them be great? I’m not so sure.
