‘American Idol’ Chooses Candice Glover As Their Season 12 Winner!

‘American Idol’ has chosen its season 12 winner! Singer Candice Glover beat out runner-up Kree Harrison to claim the top spot on the singing competition show.

Of her win Candice stated, “I can’t even — oh my God — three years!” –– noting the number of times she had auditioned and appeared on the show.

Candice was apart seasons 9 through 11 before being eliminated each time. Talk about determination!

And in true ‘American Idol’ fashion, Candice sang her new single “I Am Beautiful” after her victorious win.

Earlier that night she also sang with another Idol runner-up turn Academy Award winning actress Jennifer Hudson. A moment she’ll surely remember.
