Earlier in the week, AMG Naturally, an all natural anti-aging skin care company, launched some of its new product line just in time for the 2015 New York Fashion Week festivities.
The company, founded by Linda Lizotte, held a private event for an evening of pampering.
The event, attended by several celebrity guests including actress Selenis Leyva of ‘OITNB,’ allowed attendees to test the products by offering offered facials and massages.
Lizott, who is a practicing nutritionist for over 15 years, had a chance to speak with us about the product line and what she wants women to know about staying youthful and the importance of natural anti-aging remedies.
Lizotte tells us, “It took 2 years to develop product line from concept to bring it to the consumers. We’re targeting women in the 20-50 demographics. Younger women usually use tons of makeup, earlier in life, that catches up with them when they’re older.”
“There’s a need for healthier solutions,” she adds. “More women are exploring natural products from major cosmetic manufacturers and retailers like Sephora.”
She goes on to further elaborate that some synthetic anti-aging products are linked to breast cancer and can attribute to women having troubles conceiving later in life and birth defects in children.
As for whether she’d like to expand the cosmetic line,”Right now I’m just bringing the line to the market and want to expand on our consumer growth; bringing product to the masses.”
