August Alsina may need a course in media training 101. The singer just snapped on BET’s ‘106 & Park’ host Keshia Chante while making an appearance to promote his debut album, “Testimony.”
When Keshia asked whether August would ever end his feud with fellow RnB crooner Trey Songz, given their previous friendship and musical collaborations together, the singer replied, “So you just gone go against the grain? And go against everything that I just told… I told ya’ll not to ask me that sh*t when I got up in here.”
Perhaps the most awkward reaction was from Keisha’s co-host and rapper, Bow Wow. He did nothing. He didn’t even attempt to come to his co-host’s defense. Watch August’s reaction below.
In an interview with Rap-Up back in March, Alsina revealed his feud with the fellow RnB crooner. He stated, “I don’t really f**k with Trey right now. We don’t get along right now. We ain’t on the same page. He did some other sh*t and we just don’t rock.”
“Like I tell people all the time, show me that you’re this person on day one. You should always be that person ,” he continued. “We were supposed to have a show together and it just went left ’cause I can’t deal with ni**as’ egos and attitudes ’cause I’m just a real ni**a comin’ through and I’m rockin’. Once ni**as go to talkin’ a certain type of way, that sh*t ain’t gon’ fly with me and that’s all that was and I just had to not do the show ’cause I can’t stand on side of a ni**a if I really got something that I feel in my heart. It just ain’t gon’ work, so I just had to dip and we didn’t do it, but it is what it is.”
August’s Alsina’s debut album “Testimony,” is in stores right now.
