The cast of “Beyond The Lights” attended the movie premiere at the Regal Union Square Stadium in New York City last night. Attendees included the film’s stars, of course, actress Gugu Mbatha-Raw, actor Nate Parker and co-star and rapper Machine Gun Kelly.
Joining the cast for the red carpet premiere included BET’s Debra Lee, Singer Teyana Taylor and her baller beau Iman Shumpert, and fellow Knicks player Amar’e Stoudemire and his wife.
The film, produced by Stephanie Allain and written and directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood, is based on a rising star, Noni (Gugu) who struggles with her ambitious mother and rise to fame but is shown that there is more to life when she meets Kaz, the police officer assigned as hr bodyguard.

The film also held their movie premiere at ArcLight Hollywood in Hollywood, California just one day earlier. This time around actor Danny Glover, who plays Kaz’s (Nate) dad joined the party.
British beauty and actress Minnie Driver, who plays Gugu’s mother in the film, looked stunning as well. The 44 year old actress sported a low cut sequin dress.
