When it rains it pours. That is surely the case when it comes to Chris Brown. The singer has just been charged for a hit-and-run that occurred back in May.
Actually, Brown stopped to see if any damage had occurred to the other driver’s car but was still charged for leaving the scene without providing proper information.
Like really?! Anything to get this guy in jail, huh?
The Los Angeles City attorney has filed 2 criminal charges against the singer for the minor fender-bender, we reported on last month. The same fender-bender his ex-girlfriend Karrueche Tran was present for. Tran was also in the car at the time. In fact, she proceeded to take pictures of the damages to the other driver’s car, an unidentified woman.
Apparently Chris refused to provide the driver with his driver’s license number and insurance information before leaving the scene. He’s also been charged with driving without a valid driver’s license. Now he may be facing 6 months behind bars.
As you may already know, Chris is still on probation for his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend a href=”http://cottenkandi.com/rihanna” target=”_blank”>Rihanna — who has long forgiven him by the way.
And as expected, in response to his latest trouble with the law the singer went on a Twitter rant.
He’s since tweeted, “It’s not a hit and run if u get out the car, exchange information (who has NO DAMAGE to either cars). This is really ridiculous.”
“I have a valid drivers license and I gave the woman the right info. She saw cameras and wanted to make a scene,” he continued.
“She contacted the cops thinking of a payday from Chris Brown when I followed the proper procedures.”
“@tmz is the devil.. Just yesterday you guys were accusing me of assaulting someone( which was false) and now today it’s some more bs.”
“My lawyers will be contacting you. I will not stand for this bullying and yellow journalism!”
He ends it with, “My profile pic is the pic I took of the persons car after “the hit and run”. NO damage. Just a dirty car.once again, I gotta clear my name.”
The singer was also accused of assaulting a young lady in a California nightclub, just yesterday. Those allegations have since been dismissed by the night club owner.
Wow! We’re also starting to think Brown is being bullied simply because he’s not well liked.
