On Tuesday, singer Chris Brown plead not guilty for a recent hit and run charge, resulting in his probation being revoked.
Brown allegedly refused to fork over proper identification and a valid California license to his hit and run victim, claims he has since disputed.
To the singer’s pleasing, the judge did dismiss the charges due to lack of evidence to support these claims. So what’s the issue?
The singer is scheduled to make another court appearance on August 16th to hear what the judge has ultimately decided on his fate. If there is any reason the judge feels the singer violated his previous probation, stemming from his 2009 assault on ex-girlfriend Rihanna, he faces four years in jail.
There have been questions on whether Brown completed his full hours of community service as ordered.
We’ll keep you posted.
