Congratulations to Ciara and Future! The couple are now parents to a healthy baby boy as of Monday, May 19, 2014.
The singer announced her pregnancy earlier this year, after months of speculation, during an appearance on ABC’s ‘The View.’ To the audience and View hosts’ pleasant surprise, she unveiled her very telling and growing bump.
The news came shortly after the couple’s engagement announcement just last December.
Although there are still few details on the singer’s delivery and the birth of her newborn baby boy, mom and baby are said to be doing just fine. We will surely keep you all posted.
This is the first child for the songstress and fourth for the rapper.

*Update*: The baby boy has a name! The couple have opted to name their son after his famous dad. The baby boy’s name is Future Zahir Wilburn. Ironically, the rapper’s real name is Nayvadius D. Wilburn. Could the baby boy’s name represent the couple’s future together?
Of his birth, we’ve now learned that he weighed a hefty 9lbs 10oz upon delivery.
The proud mama even shared this image of her little bundle of joy adding, “FUTURE ZAHIR WILBURN 9lbs 10oz May 19 2014.”
