Ciara is finally opening up about her split from rapper Future. During her visit to popular New York City radio station, Power 105.1 The Breakfast Club, Ciara discussed her split and failed engagement.
Of her split from Future Ciara says, “I went with love in that situation.” And although things did not work out, the singer insist that the most beautiful thing came out of the relationship — her son, Future Zahir.
“Honesty I feel like everything in life happens for a reason. My son has been the greatest gift that god has given to me in my life. And been the most game change thing that has happened in my life in a necessary way.”
She adds that she and her ex-fiance are able to remain amicable despite their split.
“We have a child together…we don’t talk everyday, there’ s no need to..I like to stay happy and I like live life light and make the best of life.”
