Following reports this week that she and fiance and rapper Future have split and call off their engagement, singer and new mom Ciara was compelled to bash media outlet Us Weekly for making the claims (Read HERE).
Although it is not unusual for the media to report on a celebrity’s personal life, it may have been the magazine’s second report of the split that pissed the singer off. Following the initial report, the magazine followed up with another article (See HERE) detailing the couple’s break up.
The singer claims the outlet manipulated an interview with a fashion editor and presented the article as if the news came directly from her. Here’s what the singer tweeted during her Twitter rant on Wednesday (Aug. 13, 2014).
But it didn’t end there. Earlier today, Us Weekly unveiled an audio of that said interview, “revealing,” exactly what was said.

The site adds, “In spite of these claims, Ciara indeed gave an extended interview with an Us reporter at an L.A. event on Tuesday, Aug. 12.”
But we’re still confused. Where and when exactly did Ciara confirm a split from Future? Us you guys are hilarious! We’re gonna have to agree with Cici on this Us Weekly, maybe you guys are being a bit “thirsty” in your reporting.
