Days ago there was much speculation that Kimora Lee Simmons and Birdman were an item after the Cash Money CEO shared and image of himself and Simmons calling her the love of his life (See HERE). Well, the joke is on us! We’ve just learned, Simmons has secretly married a man by the name of Tim Leissner.
It was Kimora’s first husband, Russell Simmons, who confirmed the news on Twitter Wednesday (February 19, 2014).

The music mogul and philanthropist also confirmed that Tim isn’t Russian— something that’s been reported in the media.
Kimora began dating Tim following her split with actor Djimon Hounsou in 2012 (See HERE).
Prior to her relationship with the actor, the former runway model and business woman was previously married to Simmons for 13 years. Although Kimora and Djimon reportedly exchanged vows in a commitment ceremony in the actor’s hometown in West Africa, the couple’s marriage was not recognized in the 50 states.
Tim now serves as step-dad to Kimora’s three children, Ming, 14, and Aoki, 11 from her first marriage to Russell and Kenzo, 4 with Djimon.
The couple’s first public outing and confirmation they were an item was during their family Christmas vacation in St. Barts last December. They were spotted on a local beach, being very much affection, while spending time with the kids.
Congrats to the happy couple.
