Lauryn Hill Begins 3 Months Prison Stint For Tax Evasion!

Sad news for Lauryn Hill today. Despite pleading with a New Jersey judge for leniency for a mother with six children, Hill begins her 3 months prison sentence for tax evasion today.

Unfortunately her plea did not sway the judge. Hill was booked into the Federal Correctional Institution in Danbury, CT, this morning, where she’ll remain for the next few months.

TMZ reports, “We’re also told 38-year-old Hill will not be isolated in the facility — and will be housed with the general population.”

Hill plead guilty last year for tax evasion for the years 2005 to 2007.
