Lindsay Lohan is an idiot! Or should I use the politically correct term and say “misguided”. Between her and Amanda Bynes drivers across America be ware!
So Li Lo was arrested early Wednesday morning (approximately 2am) for leaving the scene of an accident. And what accident you may ask? The one where she hit a pedestrian.
As reported by TMZ, around midnight Wednesday morning Lindsay was pulling in to park her Porsche Cayenne near the Dream Hotel in downtown NYC when at a very low speed (about 30 mph) she allegedly hit the knee of a 30-something year old guy.
A passenger of Lindsay’s car then existed the car to see if there were any damages. After realizing there were no “apparent” damages Lohan and her company entered the hotel. An onlooker then called police and once Lindsay existed the hotel she was arrested around 2am.
Lohan has since released a few statements surrounding the accident . She believes she may have been set up and that she wasn’t aware an accident took place. The victim in question had no injuries and didn’t appear to have been hit. She also says no one existed her car to check for damages because to them there had been no accident. Lohan was then Lindsay was taken to the station, fingerprinted, photographed and booked for leaving the scene of an accident — a misdemeanor — and then released.
On her behalf her publicist also states, “While some of the facts are still being gathered, it appears that this is much ado about nothing,” he said. “We are confident this matter will be cleared up in the coming weeks and the claims being made against Lindsay will be proven untrue.”
No word yet on how this “accident” or whatever it is will be a violation of Lohan’s parole for past misdemeanors which includes operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
