Lindsay Lohan was involved in a serious accident earlier today in LA. The actress totaled a rented Porsche after driving into the back of an 18-wheeler on her way to the set of ‘Liz & Dick’; the Lifetime film of the late Elizabeth Taylor and husband Richard Burton.
Although the wrecked car had many believing the actress was badly injured, Lohan was just released from UCLA hospital and is already on her way to the movie set. She had been driving with an assistant at the time. The assistant was also not hurt.

Lohan is being escorted to the set in the back of a black SUV, TMZ reports.
It’s no secret the actress has battled substance and alcohol addiction with several stints in rehab in the last few years. As for what caused the accident the details are still sketchy. We hope Lohan was not under the influence of an illegal substance at the time of the accident.
