It seems former “In the House” actress Maia Campbell still has some ways to go before fixing her life.
Over the weekend, Riverdale, GA police were called to the premises of a local fast food restaurant when the actress, visibly intoxicated, began to cause a scene.
According to GigiOnThat.com, after officers gave her a chance to leave on her own, Campbell refused. she was then hauled off in handcuffs and was booked for disorderly conduct.
The 38-year-old also ended up in an Atlanta cop car last month — when she went off in a Burger King. According to the police report obtained by TMZ … she cussed out a family, accused their child of stealing her wallet, and called the arresting officer a “fu**ing fa**ot!”
It’s no secret that the actress, who was featured on Iyanla Vanzant’s “Fix My Life” on OWN in 2012, has spent much of the last two years cleaning up some of the shameful behavior that has plagued her these past several years. Unfortunately, it seems, a new year has only brought back some of those demons.
Campbell, who has been diagnosed with having bipolar disorder, has also struggled with drugs addiction and alcoholism.
We wish her all the best.
