Ivian Sarcos, 21, of Venezuela was crowned Miss World 2011, at the 60th annual beauty pageant, Sunday night in London.
Sarcos, one of 13 children and who currently works for a broadcasting company, says her ambition is to work with non-governmental organizations and children. So much so that, she has already created her own foundation to help youngsters.
Her hobbies include volleyball, mountaineering and trekking.
If you all remember Miss Angola, Leila Lopes, was crowned Miss Universe nearly two months ago. And if you’re like me, you’re probably wondering what’s the difference?
Well, not much. The pageants are simply owned by different organizations. Go figure.
