During a recent interview with PEOPLE, for their special double edition, new mom Beyonce reveals she feels more beautiful since giving birth to daughter Blue Ivy Carter.
“I feel more beautiful than I’ve ever felt because I’ve given birth,” says PEOPLE’s 2012 World’s Most Beautiful Woman. “I have never felt so connected, never felt like I had such a purpose on this earth.”
The mom gushes, “She’s just the cutest thing,” gushes Beyoncé.
When asked who does her daughter resemble most, “She looks like Blue. She’s her own person,” says Beyoncé. “The best thing about having a daughter is having a true legacy,” she adds. “The word ‘love’ means something completely different now.”
The singer also reveals that she’s now back to her pre-pregnancy weight just in time for her return to the stage. She’ll perform during a three night concert at the Revel Atlantic City for Memorial Day weekend.
