One thing we know about singer and actress Teyana Taylor is that she loves basketball players. So it doesn’t come as a surprise that she’s now reportedly dating NBA and New York Knicks player Iman Shumpert. In fact, she pretty much confirmed the news.
Taylor shared the below image of herself and a mystery man embraced during a beach outing with the caption, “Happy Birthday baby.. #ILoveU.”
Taylor also tweeted, “Every Girl Deserves Happiness.”
Immediately after sharing the photo, over 1.3 million Twitter and Instagram followers began to point out that the man in the photo was the NBA player.
The big unveil comes as a bit of a surprise considering Taylor was enthralled in a feud with ex-boyfriend and NBA player Brandon Jennings along with his now fiancee and actress Tae Heckard this past April.
Taylor felt that she was betrayed by the actress by dating Jennings because they had been friends.
During her Power 105.1 radio interview Taylor also admitted that she was dating someone but wouldn’t confirm who.
Well, we guess the cat is out of the bag.
By the way, the athlete does, in fact, celebrate a birthday tomorrow, June 26, 2014. He turns 24.
