For the very first time VIBE magazine has endorsed a Presidential nominee, Barack Obama. He will grace the cover of the magazine for its November issue. Editor-in-Chief Danyel Smith writes, “…I am clear about what must be done. The staff is behind me. This is a formal endorsement, by VIBE magazine, of Senator Barack Obama…We built hip hop from nothing to something. We can do anything.”
The is the second time VIBE chose to place the Illinois Senator on the cover of their magazine since his acceptance of the democratic candidate for presidency.
Kudos for VIBE for being one of the first magazines to show their continuing support for Obama.
