Paula Patton didn’t quite understand what all the big fuss was about following her husband, Robin Thicke, and pop star Miley Cyrus’ raunchy VMAs performance (See HERE).

After stopping by Bravo’s ‘Watch What Happens Live’, Tuesday night, she tells host Andy Cohen, “Honestly, they rehearsed for three days beforehand, and I don’t know how not to dance with someone having their booty in your … all my friends do it like that,” she explained. “And I don’t really know what the big deal is.”

“I didn’t know if they thought Miley was going to sit down and play piano like Alicia Keys. Her song’s about taking molly!” she continued, referring to the lyrics from Cyrus’ mega hit “We Can’t Stop.”

“I don’t understand. I didn’t get the big deal,” she also added.

Earlier in the month, Miley also reiterated much of the same telling MTV, “People are overthinking it,” following the award show.

Fellow pop star, Britney Spears, also came to Miley’s defense on Tuesday telling ABC, “I think any time you do a performance that is memorable, you’re going to have criticism,” during her ‘Good Morning America’ interview.

Cyrus also noted the performance was a history making. Although, we would agree, we don’t think it’s for all the right reasons.
