Randy Jackson Back On American Idol!

It’s all good dawg! Although reports surfaced last month that judge Randy Jackson may not return to the ‘American Idol’ judging panel, those reports are false!

Randy will be back! He is the last remaining of the original Idol judges since the show’s inception. With regard to host Ryan Seacrest of course.

Show creator Simon Cowell confirmed the news when he tweeted, “Just heard Randy is back on Idol.” Then added, “Right decision.”

Randy’s decision was delayed by negotiations for a better contract and certainly a hefty salary. Not that he doesn’t deserve it. He does! And with Mariah earning $18 million for her first round as an Idol judge I’m a bit curious as to what figures Randy was able to agree on. We’d all like to know.

And I’ll have to agree with Simon. It’s the right decision. Although Randy’s been a long music executive producer to the stars, his Idol gig is what keeps him relevant and has certainly open more doors for him.
