Phaedra Parks husband and ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ star Apollo Nida may be in trouble with the law again.
Nida turned himself in to the US Marshalls, on Thursday, for allegedly committing bank fraud and aggravated identity fraud.
According to Sandrarose.com, “Nida appeared in front of a US magistrate judge at US District Court in downtown Atlanta.
The site adds, “Apparently the reality TV show paychecks weren”t enough for him to provide for his growing family with local celebrity attorney Phaedra Parks. Sources say Nida has been quietly committing major bank fraud since he was released from Georgia State prison back in 2009…”
Nida also served time in a federal prison between 2004 until 2009 for breaking federal racketeering laws for altering VIN numbers on vehicles.
He then married Parks, an attorney by the way, in 2009. The couple have since had two children together.
The U.S. District Judge Gerrilyn G. Brill has since released Nida on a pretrial bond.
Nida, still on probation from his previous case, may have to return to federal prison if convicted.
It is unclear at this time whether Parks knew of her husband’s alleged crimes and if she also played a role.
We’ll keep you posted.
