Finding a job can be overwhelming. There are a number of sites that advertise the ease in assisting with your job search, but not many who actually deliver in doing so. After consulting with our By Her Own Rules family, we’ve found these five job searching platforms to be the best among a long list of sites that offer the services.

LinkedIn – the world’s largest professional network with more than 645+ million users in more than 200 countries and territories worldwide. The platform connects you directly with professionals in your niche and industry with the ability to get direct recommendations and engage with thought leaders.

Craigslist – Craigslist is a classified advertisements website with resources to help find jobs, housing, items for sale, to sell merchandise, services, community service, gigs, discussion forums and more.

Indeed – With over 250 million unique visitors every month, Indeed gives job seekers free access to find jobs, post resumes, and research companies.

Glassdoor – Glassdoor is a free platform that helps job hunters get honest reviews about companies they are interested in learning more about, potentially working for, salary inquiries and more.

Facebook – Much like the Facebook marketplace, Facebook jobs is gaining momentum as a viable platform for job searchers to find local job opportunities. With any Facebook account, you’re able to search by category, industry, location and the type of work you’re looking for; whether full-time, part-time, contract or temporary.
