Toya Wright Annoyed At Being Called Lil’ Wayne’s Baby Mama

Following Toya Wright‘s arrest, last week, for an outstanding parking violation, the former reality star was a bit upset on how she was reported about in the media.

Many media outlets reported her as being Lil’ Wayne’s baby mama. Wright didn’t take lightly to the description. During an interview with Atlanta’s Streetz 94.5 radio statiion, Wright addresses being called just that. She says….

“I totally get it…that’s the way I was introduced to the media, but it’s also a form of disrespect. I’m married, and for one I was married to him. If you’re going to say anything about Lil Wayne, don’t say baby mama cause he got like four of those. Say ‘ex-wife.’ Don’t address me as his baby mama cause I wasn’t that and I’m someone else’s wife now.”

Unfortunately following the interview, some outlets have since reported that Wright’s statements were a diss to Wayne’s other “baby mamas”.

Wright, who rose to fame as Lil’ Wayne’s ex-wife and mother to his eldest child, propelled her own career when she decided to tell her story on then BET reality show, ‘Tiny & Toya’. She would later meet and marry A&R rep and music producer Mickey “Memphitz” Wright and star in their own spin-off reality series before writing a book and starting several businesses.
