Tyler Perry & Oprah Covers Essence Magazine, Duo Team Up For Television Series

<Tyler Perry and <Oprah has proven, once again, that the rest of us are clearly doing something wrong. The two powerhouse grace the cover of the latest Essence magazine and do so gracefully.

The two have also teamed up on several new products that will make their debut shortly.

On their partnership Oprah says, “We both know how rare this is. Where else in the history of our African-American culture have two really, really successful people who can do whatever they want said, ‘Let’s come together and be even more powerful—let’s take it to the tenth power?’”

Perry and Winfrey will work together on two new television series that will air on Oprah’s OWN network very soon. Perry has created, written and will be producer for series, “Love Thy Neighbor” and “The Haves & Have Nots”.

The new issue hits stores on May 10th.
