Wesley Snipes has been freed from prison! Back in 2010 Snipes was convicted and found guilty on tax evasion charges.
Earlier in the week, he was transferred from the McKean Federal Correctional Institute in Pennsylvania to the New York Community Corrections Office. The department will oversee his home confinement.
Snipes will remain on house arrest for the next three months as he serves the remainder of his time.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons tells TMZ ... “Snipes was released on April 2 and transferred to the New York Community Corrections Office, which will oversee his home confinement.”
Snipes home confinement will end July 19.
