Young Jeezy Arrested For Beating Up Teen Son

We haven’t heard much from Young Jeezy in recent years but he happened to make it back on our radar today. Unfortunately, for the rapper, it’s some not so good news.

Back in September 2012, Jeezy, real name Jay Jenkins, got into a physical altercation with his then 16 year old son. According to TMZ.com, during the altercation, the rapper threw his son through a glass shower door, punched him in the face, dragged him into the bedroom, and threw him on a bed.

But that wasn’t it. According to police reports, Jeezy also choked his son and threatened to kill him.

According to his son the rapper stated, “I will kill you. I will put a bullet in your head right now,” adding, “If I could get away with it, I would kill you.”

Jeezy turned himself in to authorities, on Friday, after a grand jury warrant was issued (following an investigation). He was later released on $45,000 bond.

“We have no doubt this matter will resolve itself appropriately,” Jeezy’s attorney told TMZ. “At this moment, Mr. Jenkins is thankful for the support of his fans and the respect for his family’s privacy.”

Wow, we wonder what could have caused this brutal attack? We hope the two will be able to resolve the issue.

But Jeezy isn’t the only rapper whose recently made threats to his teenage son. Just last summer, rapper 50 Cent also threatening his teenage son following a verbal altercation regarding the child’s mother (See HERE).
