Khloe Kardashian Talks Estranged Husband Lamar Odom & Dating French Montana

Khloe Kardashian looks amazing on the new Cosmopolitan UK magazine issue.

During her sit down interview with the magazine, she opens up about her split from estranged husband Lamar Odom and the disappointment of getting a divorce and not having a family by the time she turned 30.

“By the time I hit that age I thought I would have kids and still be married,” she tells us. “But because that’s not the way it went, you can’t sit in a ball and cry. I had a husband, so I think there’s an adjustment period, which I don’t want to rush. Dating is so weird. But I’m happy – I moved into my new house, which is the first time I’ve owned a home on my own. It’s a big step and my brother lives with me – I’m so happy about that,” she says.

On what she looks for in a relationship and mate she adds, “I don’t crave sex. I talked about it more openly when I was married because it’s more comfortable. I crave companionship – I just want to cuddle. I got married at 25 – I was young, but I loved it. I do like it when you save certain things for your marriage. I don’t think you should treat every guy you’re dating like your husband. It doesn’t make it special.”

On getting married at 25 years old and not losing her identity….
“When I first got married some of my girlfriends said, ‘You never have to work now – you married a basketball player’. But I don’t care if you marry someone who works at the grocery store or someone who is a director of a company, everyone should have their own identity. It’s not about numbers.”

And during Sunday night’s premiere of “Kourtney & Khloe Take the Hamptons,” she further elaborated on her troubled love life, to Kourtney and Scott, while discussing her then rumored boyfriend and rapper French Montana. “It’s nothing against French. I just think I don’t want a boyfriend,” she explained. “I jumped into something because I was just, like, lonely and destructive. But now I’m like, I just want to be alone.”

“I gotta grieve,” she admitted. “I’m still married.”

Although she filed for a divorce nearly one year ago (Dec 30, 2014), the Kardashian beauty and reality starlet have yet to finalize things with her ex.

Kourtney, 35, also offered up her own thoughts on Khloe’s relationship with French during the show. “I really do like French,” she adds. “I think that Khloe has a lot of fun with him. But I think that Khloe did rush into a relationship really quickly.”

Of where her relationship with the rapper went wrong? Khloe reveals that although they have fun together, his clingy behavior was troublesome. “There’s highs and lows in every relationship,” she stated during Sunday’s episode. “I have no idea why French calls me 5,000 times a day.”

After 8 months of dating the couple split last September only to later resume their relationship. They split again earlier this month.
