Lamar Odom’s Best Friend, Jamie Sangouthai, Dies From Apparent Overdose

Lamar Odom‘s best friend and “Khloe & Lamar” co-star, Jamie Sangouthai, has died from what is being reported as an apparent heroin overdose.

Although Odom has been quiet since news of his friend’s passing, his now ex-wife Khloe Kardashian, shared her sorrow with fans on Twitter.

Upon learning of Jamie’s death Khloe tweeted, “When does it stop? RIP Jamie Sangouthai.”

Khloe’s own best friend Malika Haqq, who was also featured on “Khloe and Lamar” reality series, confirmed the reports with her own well wishes to Sangouthai.

Upon unveiling this image she writes, “Thru good and bad times life shows us every spirit matters and leaves a print on the hearts of others after they have passed… RIP Jamie Sangouthai #GodHelpUsAll.”

TMZ reports, Law enforcement sources tell TMZ, Jamie died Sunday in a hospital in downtown L.A. He was taken to the hospital after someone called 911.”

Odom and Sangouthai had been best friends since high school. The two had also been business partners.

Jamie was 37 years old.
