Although he had been sworn in on Sunday afternoon, President Barack Obama took his public oath on Monday on Dr Martin Luther King Jr’s national holiday. As you can imagine the moment was historic – to be honored on Dr. Martin Luther King’s day. It seems Dr. King’s dream came true.
Wife and First Lady Michelle Obama was by her husband’s side holding their family bibles while her husband took his oath.
