Danity Kane Officially Back Together: Girl Group Set To Make VMAs Announcement!

It’s been rumored for the last several months, but, we can now officially confirm ‘Danity Kane’ is back.

The newly formed girl group comprised of Dawn Richard, Aubrey O’Day, Aundrea Fimbres and Shannon Bex. Who won’t be coming back? Wanita “D. Woods” Woodgett.

Although Woods has since wished the ladies well upon hearing about the reunion, she will not be making a return to the group due to her own personal and professional endeavors.

During a recent interview with Vibe.com Woods stated, “It has been brought to my attention that my former group members of Danity Kane will be reuniting and while I will not be a part of the reunion, I wish the ladies blessings and much success on their endeavors.”

Since the group’s disbandment back in 2009, Dawn Richard went on to be apart trio ‘Dirty Money’ including founder and music mogul Diddy and singer/songwriter Keleena Harper before started her solo career in 2011. O’Day went on to star in her own reality show that was short lived, appeared on ‘The Apprentice’ and several other reality show series while Bex and Fimbres took some much needed time away from the music industry.

The ladies are set to make an official announcement at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday 8/25 at 8 pm. Perhaps they’ll even walk the red carpet when they do.
