Lamar Gets Traded And What Does Wife Khloe Kardashian Have To Say?

2

Late last week when news broke that the LA Lakers were considering a three-team trade involving Lamar Odom, team mate Pau Gasol and New Orleans Hornets player Chris Paul, although fans took the news harshly and Lamar stunned Khloe Kardashian made it clear she would stand by her man. In several tweets to fans she wrote,

“I would go anywhere with my hubby!
I ride or die for my Lam! Its where I go… Its who I am with 🙂
I can survive anywhere… People are acting cray!……”

Lamar, on the other hand, felt disposable to a team he had served and had been committed to for 7 years! In a surprising change of events, Odom insisted he be traded after the initial trade agreements were stopped by NBA commissioner David Stern. Where does that leave Lamar? Off to Dallas! He’ll be joining the Mavericks for the 2012 NBA season.

As for wife, Khloe Kardashian, perhaps she’s not as excited as she’d seem in prior days leading up to the trade.

She again took to twitter to say, “I am blessed and happy anywhere as long as I am with my family! God is great!!” she added in another Tweet. “Blessed beyond words! I love ALL of my dolls!”

“I am curious as to how I am the cause for any trade? LOL. Some people just say anything behind their computer screens.”

“I am going back to being excited about life! LOL. “I am sure I will love it but I am a tad thrown off,” she added.

If unstopped, the initial trade agreements between Los Angeles, Houston and New Orleans  would have sent Odom and Lakers forward Pau Gasol to New Orleans for Hornets guard Paul.

In a statement issued to the LA Times, Thursday, Odom stated, “You don’t want to go to no place you’re not wanted.”

Like any sport, Basketball is a business. Do you think Lamar is being overly sensitive about the entire matter? Afterall, players get traded all the time, right? What are your thoughts?
