This may actually be one of the first interviews where Nelly acknowledges he and singer Ashanti were a couple. During his appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” with host Andy Cohena dn fellow guest and reality star Porsha Stewart he acknowledges they were a couple and that there’s someone new in his life.
When asked if he and Ashanti were still together Nelly replied, “No”. Surprising considering the couple did much of dodges questions of whether they ever dated in their decade long on-off relationship.
But when asked if he’s dating someone new Nelly replied, “Yes”, again, an interesting response considering he’s never acknowledge his previous relationship until it was over. Nelly then joked Andy Cohen would make him dish too much.
And if you’ve followed our blog, then you know, the new lady in his life is no other than the beautiful actress Lashontae “Tae” Heckard of BET’s ‘The Game’. The duo have been spotted, on a number of occasions, holding hands and partying it up together from city to city.
Ms. Tae has also made reference to her love from time to time on social media, although, she’s tried her best to be discrete.

We say kudos to Nelly and Tae. Although we also thought he and Ashanti made a cute pair, we wish the new couple well.

He sure did and he also confirmed that his & Ashanti was no longer together. But why was Andy trying to hard to hook him up with Porsha tho???
